Dear Friend, 

Have you noticed that we are on the go constantly? Mentally as well as physically, and often doing more than one thing at a time?

Does 'I haven't had time to stop and think' sound familiar?

Even when we are sitting down, supposedly relaxing, say, watching tv or playing with the kids or reading a book, the shopping list comes to mind, or we remember the clothes in the washing machine, or the email we have yet to reply to. 

Many of us find it difficult to just concentrate on one thing at a time, or to just do nothing at all.

We are uncomfortable with long stretches of silence, and even feel that we need to rush a reply, some sort of reply, to everybody.

Remember when we didn't have mobile phones? Or email? 

I'm not trying to sound prehistoric here, but those were valuable and precious times. Times where people simply had to wait...now time has become even more sacred.

This October I will be bringing you Focus: a free online guided meditation based on the Karmic law of Focus: We cannot think of two different things at the same time.

(At least certainly not giving them both 100 percent of our attention!.)

Working with the gentle yet effective energies of Clear Quartz, my aim will be to allow you to experience the power of  stillness, silence, breath, and how we can practise focusing on one thing at a time, and be aware of, and eventually be able to, tune into more subjective experiences, allowing for spiritual growth and a deeper, higher state of consciousness.

I can imagine to some this would seem impossible, even daunting, but with practise you will soon be able to:

.Put into practise doing one thing at a time.

. Learn to put 'noise' on mute, wherever you are.

. Feel more grounded.

. Learn how to create a personal space for spiritual growth/ recharge.
